Housing Exemption Information

Residency Requirement:

All first- and second- year students are required to live on campus.
No exceptions are granted outside of the approved exemption areas (please see below).

Housing Exemption Policy:

Students whose home of record is located within the following counties may request an exemption: Boone (KY), Kenton (KY), Campbell (KY), Hamilton (OH), and Clermont (OH).
Exemption requests are not permitted for students residing outside these counties

To request to live off campus, please fill out this form and attach any documentation required to confirm your answers. Note that completion of this form does NOT guarantee an exemption.

I intend to live off campus with a parent or legal guardian who lives in one of the following counties: Boone (KY), Campbell (KY), Kenton (KY), Hamilton (OH), or Clermont (OH).

I will be 21 years of age or older at the time that classes begin for my first semester.

I am married.

I have limited mobility, a physical disability, or a medical condition which necessitates that I live off campus.

I am applying for an exemption for another reason besides those listed here. (Please explain below in the comments section and/or upload related documentation).

Documentation or correspondence from your physician indicating your limited mobility, physical disability, or other medical condition.
