James Graham Brown Scholars Application

High school seniors of exceptional academic ability are welcome to apply for admission to the James Graham Brown Scholars Program. This small program enhances the educational experience of academically superior students by offering the opportunity for full-tuition scholarships and granting Scholars exceptional university credentials for future experiences and/or graduate school endeavors. The deadline to complete your application for Fall 2024 is Friday, December 15, 2023 at 5pm. You must submit all of your application materials by the deadline in order to be considered. You will be notified of your application status afterward. Finalists will be invited to an in-person interview.

Eligibility

Minimum qualifications to be considered for the Program are:

• Acceptance into Thomas More University;
• High school cumulative weighted GPA of 4.0 OR 3.6 GPA with ACT 29/SAT 1330/CLT 90;
• Completed application submission. See instructions link above for details. Materials include:
   o online application form (fill out the form below and check your email for a reply);
   o three letters of recommendation;
   o essay on the assigned topic;
   o two-minute audio or video self-interview; and
   o chart listing significant community service
