Msgr. Cleves Honors Scholarship Application

The prestigious Cleves Honors Program, named after former Thomas More President Msgr. William F. Cleves, awards a scholarship to high-achieving students while engaging them in community service and professional and academic opportunities. The scholarship is renewable for four years and varies in amount depending on your academic record and standing. To apply for the Cleves Honors Program, a high school senior must be accepted to Thomas More University and have achieved either a 4.0 cumulative GPA or earned at least a 3.25 GPA with a minimum 26 ACT/1240 SAT/82 CLT. Applications are not accepted from students currently enrolled full-time at Thomas More University.

Opportunities for Honors students include special seminar courses taught by our most accomplished faculty, and the chance to join your peers and Honors professors at concerts, theatre productions, and other activities. Honors students are expected to maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 and are recognized during Commencement Exercises by wearing an Honors Chord. You will thus join students across the country as members of the National Collegiate Honors Council.
